Demand better funding

Commit to fully funding the 2027/28 pay award and fully fund the commitments contained within the government’s white paper (including special educational needs and disabilities reform).

Demand better inspection

End the high-stakes, low-trust inspection system by bringing graded inspection to a halt and independently reviewing the new Ofsted framework, working with the profession to create an accountability system that is fair, effective and supports school improvement.

Demand better workload

Take urgent action to deliver tangible reductions in workload by working with school leaders to identify and remove unnecessary bureaucracy, duplication and administrative burdens.

Demand better recognition

Conduct a meaningful and comprehensive review of school leadership pay so that salaries properly reflect the scale, complexity and responsibilities of all modern leadership roles.
